Alabama fan Tommy Ray nears 700th consecutive football game

Tommy Ray, a Huntsville resident known as ‘Roll Tide Tommy’, is approaching a major milestone in his decades-long streak of attending Alabama football games. Ray has attended 692 consecutive games, a streak that began in 1972.

Ray does not hold season tickets, instead securing individual seats through various means for every home, road, bowl, and playoff game. If he attends the eight remaining regular-season games, the upcoming Iron Bowl against Auburn on November 28 in Tuscaloosa will mark his 700th consecutive game.
