The Alabama Crimson Tide football team continues its 2026 fall camp preparations in Tuscaloosa. During recent sessions, the team focused on defensive line drills and positional development.

Defensive coordinator Kane Wommack and defensive line coach Freddie Roach have noted significant depth and growth within the defensive front. Notable performers include transfers Devan Thompkins and Terrance Green, as well as sophomore Caleb Smith. Freshmen Nolan Wilson and Corey Howard also showed signs of improvement during drills.

The team is scheduled for its second scrimmage of fall camp on Thursday, August 20, ahead of their season opener against East Carolina on September 5.
