Alabama High School Athletic Association holds All-Star games while reviewing school probation appeals

Separately, Mary G. Montgomery and Pell City high schools appeared before the AHSAA Central Board in Montgomery to appeal restrictive probation imposed in May for alleged recruiting violations. Both schools face a 2026 postseason ban and one‑year coach suspensions. AHSAA executive director Heath Harmon said the board would issue written decisions to the schools later that day, without commenting on the specifics of the cases.
