Alabama high school football enters new season with stadium openings and rivalries

Snook Christian Academy is entering a new era for its football program, marking its first season in the Alabama High School Athletic Association. The Eagles are also set to play their first game in a brand-new stadium.

In other regional high school football action, Mountain Brook is scheduled to play a rivalry game against Homewood at Waldrop Stadium. Both teams enter Class 5A, Region 4 play with 1-1 records. Mountain Brook has won the last six meetings in the series.
