Alabama July weekend lineup features Jerry Seinfeld, festivals and charity rides

Jerry Seinfeld will headline a stand‑up show at the Von Braun Center’s Mark C. Smith Concert Hall in Huntsville on Friday, July 10. The weekend continues with Hartselle’s monthly “Second Saturdays” on July 11, offering local vendors, live music and food trucks in downtown. From July 16‑18, the Athens Lions Club runs a free Kiddie Carnival with rides for children ages 2‑10, while nearby Tuscumbia hosts the 30th annual Saddle Up for St. Jude fundraiser, featuring country‑music performances, horseback riding trails and a charity auction.

The Birmingham Times also promotes regional events, including a preliminary comedy round at the StarDome Comedy Club and a jazz happy‑hour with José Carr and his band. Together, these activities provide a range of family‑friendly entertainment across North Alabama throughout the July 10‑18 period.
