Alabama leads all colleges in NFL player representation heading into the 2026 NFL season. According to an analysis of NFL roster data, the Alabama Crimson Tide has 57 players on active rosters, maintaining a dominant position in the talent pipeline. If this ranking holds through Week 1, it marks the tenth consecutive season Alabama has led the country in this category.

Ohio State follows closely with 56 players, and Georgia ranks third with 53. Other top programs include LSU with 44 players, Texas with 42, and Michigan and Notre Dame with 40 each. South Dakota State is noted as the top FCS program with six players on active rosters.

Across the 32 active NFL rosters, 202 colleges are represented, spanning 48 U.S. states. Two Canadian universities also have representation, including the University of Manitoba.
