Various nonprofit organizations and community development groups in Alabama have announced new grant distributions to support local services.

In Chilton County, the Cawaco Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) announced over $100,000 in appropriations for nine different organizations. Among the beneficiaries is Care Net of Chilton County, which received $10,000 to fund its Parenting University program, providing educational materials and curriculum for expectant parents.
