In collegiate soccer action, the No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide women's team maintained its undefeated record with a 3-0 victory over the University of South Alabama. Maison Smith scored the opening goal in the 24th minute, followed by a penalty kick converted by Larkin Thomason in the 79th minute after a handball in the box.

Separately, the UAH men's soccer team opened its home schedule with a 6-0 win against Shawnee State at Charger Park, improving their record to 2-0.
