Alabama State University reschedules Homecoming football game

Alabama State University has rescheduled its Homecoming football game against Florida A&M University due to potential tropical weather threats. The matchup, originally part of the traditional Homecoming weekend, is now set to take place on Friday, October 9, 2026, with kickoff scheduled for approximately 11:00 a.m. or 11:05 a.m.

In addition to the football game change, the university announced that all other Homecoming activities previously scheduled between Friday and Sunday have been rescheduled. Officials stated that the safety and well-being of the university community remains the highest priority while they continue to monitor weather conditions.
