Alabama summer concerts announced for August 2024

North Alabama will host a series of outdoor performances and community festivals early in August. Highlights include Shakespeare in the Garden at the Huntsville Botanical Garden (July 31‑August 8), the free "Fridays After Five" street fair in Athens on July 31, the City Lights & Stars concert series on Burritt on the Mountain (July 31), and the family‑focused Bluff Blast in Hokes Bluff on August 1.

In the Birmingham metropolitan area, a slate of concerts is scheduled throughout August at venues such as the Coca‑Cola Amphitheatre, Legacy Arena and the Alabama Theatre. Acts range from country star Tim McGraw (August 13) and pop group Seconds of Summer (August 16) to hip‑hop artist Don Toliver (August 15) and a host of regional and touring bands across the month.
