Alabama weather shifts to fall patterns amid Georgia fatal crash
Alabama is experiencing a shift toward fall-like weather, characterized by cooler nights, lower humidity, and mostly dry conditions. While some spotty showers were noted in East-Central Alabama, much of the region is seeing highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
In Georgia, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred on Forrest Hill Road in Macon. Investigators from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office believe the crash, involving a Lexus and a KIA, may have been triggered by a medical emergency. The driver of the Lexus, 26-year-old Andrew Wilson, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital, while the driver of the KIA remained in stable condition.
