Aladağlar National Park attracts climbers and young athletes

Aladağlar National Park in Niğde, Turkey, continues to serve as a major hub for mountaineering, camping, and winter sports, attracting both professional athletes and casual tourists year-round. The region offers diverse routes suitable for various skill levels, ranging from easy hiking paths to challenging rock climbing and technical mountain ascents.

In a notable achievement, four young student athletes from Bursa successfully completed their first professional climb at the Davlumbaz Summit, reaching an altitude of 3,587 meters. Led by coach Mustafa Aksoy, the group—comprising Hüseyin Yılmaz, Ela Nur Dalgıç, Rümeysa Aytaç, and Eymen Uğur—navigated difficult terrain in the Aladağlar range. Despite facing adverse weather conditions that prevented a summit attempt on Küçük Demirkazık Dağı, the team successfully reached the Davlumbaz peak.
