Alaşehir Coffeehouse Chamber honors veteran and young tradespeople
The Alaşehir Coffeehouse Chamber organized an award ceremony in the Alaşehir district of Manisa to preserve Ahilik culture and pass professional values to younger generations.
The ceremony, held at the coffeehouse of Mustafa Yılmaz—a 55-year veteran of the profession and former headman of the Şeyhsinan neighborhood—honored both long-serving tradespeople and newcomers. Plaque recipients included Mustafa Yılmaz (55 years of service), Ali Karaman (39 years), and İbrahim Eroğlu (37 years). Additionally, young tradespeople Ramazan Karınyarıcı and İbrahim Burak İnanç were recognized for their recent entries into the profession.
Umut Koç, President of the Alaşehir Coffeehouse Chamber, stated that the organization aims to strengthen solidarity among its 360 active members by bridging the gap between different generations of tradespeople.
