Alaşehir culture and gastronomy showcased in Izmir

The cultural, historical, and gastronomic values of Alaşehir, a district in Manisa, are being showcased at the Manisa Promotion Days held in the Bornova district of Izmir. The three-day event, located at the Bornova Aşık Veysel Social Activity Area, features a dedicated stand organized through the collaboration of the District Governor's Office, the municipality, TARİŞ, the Public Education Center, and the Alaşehir Women's Entrepreneurship Production and Business Cooperative.

Visitors are being introduced to the region's agricultural wealth, with a particular focus on Alaşehir grapes and grape leaves. Additionally, handmade products created by the local women's cooperative are on display. Alaşehir District Governor Ercan Öter hosted Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, a former Minister of Youth and Sports and 28th Term Izmir Deputy, at the stand. During the visit, Öter provided information regarding the cooperative's activities and ongoing efforts to promote the district.
