Alaşehir Municipality offers free camping in Didim for staff and veterans
Alaşehir Municipality is continuing its tradition of providing free tent camping in Didim to boost the morale and motivation of its staff. Approximately 600 employees will benefit from the program on a rotational basis, with each person receiving a two-night, three-day stay.
The campsite features eight 15-square-meter tents and offers amenities such as buffet breakfast, dinner, showers, a cafeteria, and toilets. Activities available to staff include swimming, sand volleyball, and various social games.
In addition to municipal employees, local veterans are also participating in the program. Osman Saraç, President of the Alaşehir Combat Veterans Association, expressed gratitude to Mayor Ahmet Öküzcüoğlu for the opportunity, noting that the trip allowed veterans to enjoy the seaside and explore the area via provided transportation. Mayor Öküzcüoğlu visited the site to meet with staff and veterans, sharing meals with them to discuss their experiences.
