Alagoas launches major public‑service exams, adding hundreds of police and health jobs

The state of Alagoas has moved forward with two large public‑service recruitment drives. The Police Civil of Alagoas (PC AL) confirmed Cebraspe as the exam organizer and will offer 300 new positions – 150 for immediate hiring and 150 for a reserve list – for police agents and clerks. The selection will include written, physical, and practical tests covering subjects such as law, cybersecurity and statistics.

Separately, the State Health Secretariat (SESAU AL) published its 2026 exam, also run by Cebraspe, with 1,750 immediate vacancies and 1,796 reserve spots. The jobs span specialist and assistant health roles, including biomedicine, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, dentistry, psychology and social work, with starting salaries up to R$ 5,757. Applications are open from 20 July to 26 August, with fees of R$ 120‑160.
