The Alagoas Military Police (PM-AL) has officially reopened its requalified Headquarters (QCG) located at Praça da Independência in downtown Maceió. The renovation of the historic colonial-era building was completed following an investment of approximately R$ 15 million from state treasury funds.

Governor Paulo Dantas stated that the modern environment is designed to strengthen administrative management and improve strategic planning for combating crime. He noted that the investment aims to foster a safer environment to support the state's economy, tourism, and industrial attraction. The ceremony included the presence of General Commander Colonel Paulo Amorim and Secretary of Public Security Flávio Saraiva.
