Alagoas Scientific Police receive new computing equipment

Acting Governor of Alagoas, Fábio Bittencourt, has delivered new high-performance computers to the state's Scientific Police. The investment, exceeding R$ 652,000, was made possible through the National Public Security Fund (FNSP).

The technological upgrade is intended to modernize the Criminalistics and Medical-Legal institutes in Maceió and Arapiraca. According to Chief Forensic Expert Kleber Santana, the new equipment replaces obsolete machines to increase processing speed and accelerate the issuance of official documents.

Officials stated that the modernization aims to improve technical forensic work and support the judiciary by providing faster, more accurate evidence in the fight against crime in the state.
