Alaia Baldwin Aronow avoids jail for Georgia bar incident
Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the older sister of Hailey Bieber, has avoided jail time following a February 2024 incident at Club Elan in Savannah, Georgia. Prosecutors offered Aronow entry into a pre-trial diversion program in exchange for avoiding incarceration.
To satisfy the terms of the agreement, Aronow must complete specific classes, pay fines, and meet other court-ordered conditions. She is scheduled to appear in court on August 25.
The legal proceedings stem from an altercation involving bar staff. According to police reports and security footage, Aronow allegedly entered a staff-only restroom and refused to leave after being directed to the customer facilities. During the ensuing confrontation, employees alleged that Aronow pulled a security guard's hair, kicked a second guard in the groin, and threw a used tampon at a bartender.
Aronow was originally facing charges of simple assault, simple battery, and trespassing. While she initially denied the allegations, she later admitted to throwing the object, claiming she acted in self-defense.
