ALAINPAUL presents Spring/Summer 2027 collection inspired by dance

The fashion brand ALAINPAUL, founded by Alain Paul and Luis Philippe, presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, which centers on the intersection of contemporary dance and underground nightlife. The collection utilizes movement as a primary design language, featuring garments intended to adapt to the wearer's physicality.

The presentation included a live performance choreographed by Eric Christison, set to a score by Senjan Jansen and artist Shygirl. The clothing draws inspiration from rehearsal wear and the energy of the rave scene, incorporating elements such as rehearsal tights, tailored stirrup trousers, and oversized skirts with adjustable waists.

Design details include utilitarian elements used as adornment, distressed leather, denim, and knitwear. The collection also features footwear inspired by the physical impact of pointe work and includes shoes manufactured in Portugal. The aesthetic blends theatrical tailoring—such as projected shoulders and sculpted waists—with the functional, lived-in feel of a dancer’s wardrobe.
