Herediano moved to Alejandro Morera Soto for Copa Centroamericana debut

Club Sport Herediano was required by CONCACAF to relocate its Copa Centroamericana group‑stage debut against Club Deportivo Marathón from the Estadio Nacional to the Alejandro Morera Soto stadium in Alajuela. CONCACAF cited the condition of the National Stadium’s playing surface as not meeting its stadium standards.

The match is scheduled for the Thursday evening of the opening round, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. Local ticket prices remain unchanged at 5,000 colones for the General West (Sol) section and 7,000 colones for the General South (Sombra) section. Herediano thanked Liga Deportiva Alajuelense for making the venue available on short notice.

The change affects both Costa Rican and Honduran fans, as the opponent Marathón travels from Honduras to the new venue.
