Alam Cahayo Tuah Nagori wins 2026 Pacu Jalur festival

The 2026 Traditional Pacu Jalur festival in Teluk Kuantan, Kuantan Singingi Regency, has concluded. The Alam Cahayo Tuah Nagori team from Cerenti District secured first place in the competition.

Prize money for winners was funded through the Kuantan Singingi regional budget (APBD). The first-place winner received Rp80 million, followed by Rp70 million for second place and Rp65 million for third place. A total of 15 teams received various levels of prize money.

Following the event, the Kuantan Singingi Regency Government and local community members conducted a mass clean-up operation at Tepian Narosa and Taman Jalur. Led by Acting Regional Secretary Muradi and Acting Regent Muklisin, the initiative aimed to restore cleanliness and comfort to the area after the high volume of activity during the festival.
