Alamein International Airshow 2026 features UAE and Russian defense technology

The Alamein International Airshow and Space 2026, held at Alamein International Airport in Egypt from September 8 to 10, features significant participation from international defense and aerospace entities.

The United Arab Emirates is represented by a national pavilion led by the Tawazun Council in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. Participating UAE companies include EDGE Group, Abu Dhabi Aviation, and Generation 5. The delegation aims to showcase advanced national capabilities in aviation, defense, unmanned systems, and future technologies to foster strategic international partnerships.

Russia is also a major participant through Rosoboronexport, Almaz-Antey, and Rostec. Russian displays include the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter jet, equipped with various air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, as well as S-71M and S-71K drones. Additionally, Russia will showcase the Pantsir-SMD-E air defense system and the Verba man-portable air defense system.
