Alan Cumming admits he does not understand ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ plot

Actor Alan Cumming has revealed that he does not fully understand the plot of the upcoming Marvel Studios film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, despite reprising his role as Nightcrawler. In an interview with SiriusXM, Cumming humorously described the extreme secrecy and technical nature of the production.

He noted that much of his work involved filming in front of blue screens without physical sets or direct interaction with other actors. Cumming shared an anecdote where he declined a crew member's attempt to explain a scene involving giant robots, stating he simply wanted to know where to point and run.

Cumming also mentioned a funny encounter with Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova. Despite sharing a scene in the film, the two had never met in person until the Emmy Awards, as Cumming had actually filmed his sequence with Pugh’s stunt double.
