Alan Cumming discusses ‘The Traitors’ and new series ‘Tip Toe’

Alan Cumming continues his work as the host of the Peacock competition series ‘The Traitors’ while preparing for new projects. Following his third consecutive Emmy win for the role, Cumming is currently filming the sixth season of the show in Scotland.

In the recent ‘New Blood’ season, contestant Jay Vinnedge, an Oklahoma City physician and former U.S. Air Force flight medic, became a subject of viewer discussion. After displaying a theatrical and flamboyant persona, viewers speculated about his orientation, which Vinnedge clarified by mentioning he met his wife in high school band.

Cumming is also set to star in the five-episode limited series ‘Tip Toe’ on Starz. Written by Russell T Davies, the series features Cumming as a queer bar owner in Manchester involved in a tumultuous relationship with a neighbor, a role Cumming noted was specifically pitched to him.
