Alan Parsons announces Mexico tour dates for October

British musician and producer Alan Parsons is returning to Mexico this October with his 'The Show Must Go On' tour. The tour follows previous postponements due to health reasons. The scheduled performances include stops in Mexico City, Querétaro, and Guadalajara, with the Querétaro date set for October 21 at the Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez Auditorium.

During a press conference, Parsons discussed the significance of the tour title, noting it refers to both the resumption of his performances and his early discography. He reflected on his 50-year career, observing that younger audiences are increasingly seeking organic musicality over electronic and pop trends.

Parsons also addressed the impact of artificial intelligence on the music industry, stating that while technology can mimic his style, such creations lack soul and authenticity. He further noted how digital platforms have shifted consumer habits from full albums to individual tracks, presenting a challenge for artists focused on conceptual works.
