Alan Ritchson Gets 40+ Offers as Netflix’s ‘War Machines’ Sequel Title Announced
Actor Alan Ritchson said he received roughly 40 new project offers after the first season of the Amazon Prime series Reacher became an overnight streaming hit. He described the influx of scripts as a “wild amount of job offers” that arrived in his inbox the Monday after the show’s release.
Netflix later confirmed the sequel to Ritchson’s 2026 blockbuster War Machine, unveiling its official title – War Machines. The sequel is a US‑Australia co‑production with an estimated budget of $50‑100 million, directed and co‑written by Patrick Hughes. Production partners include Lionsgate, Hidden Pictures, Range Media Partners and Huge Film, and the project is slated to expand the franchise’s conflict with multiple war machines on screen.
