Alan Ritchson reportedly in talks for DCU role as Deathstroke

Reports suggest that actor Alan Ritchson, known for his role in ‘Reacher’, was in discussions to join the DC Universe (DCU) as the character Deathstroke. While Ritchson has long been a fan favorite for the role of Batman, industry insiders indicate that his talks with DC Studios were centered on the upcoming crossover film featuring the villains Bane and Deathstroke.

Although Ritchson previously confirmed meetings with DC Studios regarding a role that suited him, it remains unconfirmed if a deal was finalized. Some reports suggest the actor may have stepped away from the project because it has not been officially greenlit or lacks a confirmed director.

The Deathstroke and Bane project has been in development for over two years, with Matthew Orton reportedly working on the script. While director Greg Mottola has been linked to the film, some sources claim the project's status remains uncertain.
