Actor Alan Ritchson has indicated that a potential adaptation of the Lee Child novel ‘Die Trying’ was halted following the re-election of Donald Trump. The book, which Ritchson described as a favorite, features the protagonist Reacher fighting through a white supremacist militia camp.

In a response to a fan on Threads, Ritchson noted that he had previously received approval for the project but stated, “Fun fact: I had it approved until someone got re-elected.” This marks another instance of the ‘Reacher’ star expressing strong political opposition toward the former president.
