Alan Titchmarsh YouTube series to move to ITV

ITV has commissioned a new twelve-part television series titled ‘My Year In A Cottage Garden With Alan Titchmarsh’. The program is based on Middlechild Production’s successful YouTube series, ‘Gardening With Alan Titchmarsh’.

The series will document Titchmarsh revitalizing a long-established cottage garden over a 12-month period, utilizing a mix of original YouTube content, new footage, presenter links, and voiceovers. The YouTube channel, launched in 2025, has amassed over 100 million views worldwide and more than 500,000 social media followers.

Scheduled to air in 2027, the project marks a transition from digital-first content to mainstream television, with international distribution to be handled by Passion Distribution.
