Alanya authorities shut down two tour boats after workers' fight

In the Alanya harbor of Turkey's Antalya province, a dispute between employees of two tour boats escalated into a physical fight on the morning of the incident. A tourist recorded the altercation on a mobile phone, and the footage was quickly handed to Alanya municipal police (Zabıta).

The municipal investigation led to both vessels being sealed and temporarily barred from commercial operation, with administrative penalties imposed on the operators. Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik emphasized that Alanya, a major international tourism destination, will not tolerate behavior that disrupts public order or harms the city’s image, and warned that similar violations will be met with decisive legal action.
