Alanya to begin second phase of Atatürk Avenue infrastructure renewal
Alanya Municipality has announced that the second phase of a major infrastructure renewal project on Atatürk Avenue will begin on November 2. The project focuses on the section of the Ahmet Asım Tokuş coastal road located between the Atatürk Monument and the Highways Branch Directorate.
This comprehensive upgrade is designed to provide long-term solutions for the city's needs over the next 50 years. The scope of work includes the complete renewal of drinking water, sewage, and rainwater drainage systems, as well as electricity, lighting, natural gas, and fiber internet lines.
To ensure efficiency and prevent future road excavations, the municipality will complete all underground utility work before proceeding to surface improvements. Once the infrastructure is finalized, the road will be resurfaced with hot asphalt and the sidewalks will be renovated.
