Alanya University more than doubles size in three years

Alanya University has experienced significant growth over the last three years, more than doubling its academic staff and student population. The number of academic faculty members rose from 55 to 123, while the student body increased from 558 to 1,221.

Supported by Golden Gateway Holding, the institution is focusing on internationalization, scientific production, and expanding educational opportunities through both Turkish and English programs. Halis Ali Çakmak, Chairman of the Board of Golden Gateway Holding and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Alanya University, stated that the development is a collaborative effort involving the board, rectorate, academic and administrative staff, and the Alanya community.

Under the academic leadership of Rector Prof. Dr. Turan Sağer, the university has prioritized strengthening its academic capacity and aligning quality processes with international standards to prepare students for global needs.
