Following the match, Alanyaspor manager Joao Pereira heavily criticized his team's performance, particularly in the first half. Pereira stated, “We practically did not take the field. We did not play, we did not run. We lost the match because of the first half,” adding that the team felt as though they had remained in the dressing room.

Kocaelispor manager Selçuk İnan praised his players for executing the tactical plan developed during the week. He noted that the team prepared specifically for Alanyaspor's possession-based style and emphasized the importance of squad rotation to keep all players ready for the demanding fixture schedule.
