Alaraz expands cultural heritage with new ethnographic museum

The town of Alaraz in Salamanca is expanding its cultural offerings through several local museums. The recently inaugurated “Museo de Antaño,” opened on July 18, 2025, serves as an ethnographic center dedicated to preserving the values and traditions of rural life.

In addition to this center, the town hosts the Museo de las Muñecas, featuring a collection by Rosa Pérez Gómez, and the Museo Etnográfico de Usos y Tradiciones. These institutions aim to safeguard the historical heritage and local identity of the region.
