Alas de Mi Patria ballet completes historic tour in Turkey

The Chilean folkloric ballet group Alas de Mi Patria has completed a historic international tour in Turkey, performing 27 shows for an estimated audience of over 65,000 people.

The tour included 11 performances at the International Folk Dance Festival in Denizli, eight shows at the 38th Altın Karagöz International Competition in Bursa, and eight appearances at the World Folk Dance Competition in Istanbul. Notably, the group became the first Chilean ensemble to participate in the Istanbul competition.

Supported by the Regional Government of Coquimbo, the tour aimed to project local talent and Chilean culture on global stages. Regional Governor Cristóbal Juliá noted the importance of providing opportunities for local artists to represent the Coquimbo Region and the country internationally.
