Alas Roban The Series to premiere on ANTV and Netflix

Following the success of its film version, which drew over 2.4 million viewers, Alas Roban is being adapted into a series titled ‘Alas Roban The Series’. The project is a collaboration between ANTV and Netflix, aimed at delivering high-quality Indonesian drama content to a wider audience.

Produced by Unlimited Production, the series follows a story of maternal sacrifice, mystery, and supernatural terror set in the legendary Alas Roban area of Central Java. The cast includes Michelle Ziudith and Fara Shakila as mother and daughter, alongside Omar Daniel, Ben Joshua, and others.

Actress Michelle Ziudith noted that returning to the franchise was a difficult decision due to mystical experiences she encountered during the filming of the original movie, which caused her significant distress. However, she chose to participate due to her connection to the intellectual property. The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 18, 2026, and on ANTV on October 19, 2026.
