Alase releases new single Power

Finnish modern metal band Alase has released a new single titled “Power” through Inverse Records. The track continues the band’s progressive and atmospheric style, incorporating electronic elements such as trap hi-hats and hand clap samples.

Ville Haavisto serves as the song’s 18th guest vocalist, providing a mix of clean vocals and aggressive screams and growls. The lyrics, written by Ninni Swan, explore themes regarding an individual's ability to influence the direction of their own life. Guitarist Janne Lunnas, who also produced, mixed, and mastered the track, noted that the composition was inspired by the band Hacktivist.
