Alaska Air Group Sets Unified 2030 Sustainability Goals for Alaska, Hawaiian and Horizon Airlines

Alaska Air Group released its 2025 Impact Report, outlining progress toward more than a dozen sustainability goals covering safety, environmental performance, employee engagement, community support and governance. The report also announced new 2030 impact goals that unify Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air under a single sustainability framework, aiming to reduce carbon emissions, waste and strengthen community development.

Key operational milestones highlighted include Alaska Airlines receiving a single operating certificate to run both Alaska and Hawaiian brands, the integration of a single passenger service system, Hawaiian Airlines joining the oneworld alliance, the group’s largest fleet order to date, and the opening of a new Global Training Center in Seattle. The unified strategy is presented as a step toward a more resilient global airline group that creates long‑term value for guests, employees and the regions it serves.
