Alaska Airlines appoints Amaresh Siva as Chief IT Officer

Alaska Airlines has appointed Amaresh Siva as its new Chief Information Technology Officer. In this newly created role, Siva will oversee the company’s enterprise technology, data, digital, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence strategies.

Siva will report directly to CEO Ben Minicucci and join the company’s Executive Committee starting next month. His mandate includes strengthening core platforms, advancing digital capabilities, and building scalable data and AI foundations to support long-term growth and operational resilience.

Siva joins the airline from CVS Health, where he served as Chief Digital and Technology Officer for Health Care Delivery. He brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience from various sectors, including previous roles at Target Corporation and GE Capital.
