Alaska Airlines to launch nonstop Seattle flights to Athens and Paris

Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of new nonstop seasonal service from Seattle to Athens and Paris starting in the spring of 2027. The airline will utilize Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft for these routes.

Service to Athens is scheduled to begin on May 12, 2027, operating three times a week. This will be the airline’s longest route and the only nonstop option to Athens from the West Coast. Service to Paris will commence on May 25, 2027, with flights operating five times a week through the fall.

These additions expand Alaska’s international network, which already includes nonstop service to London, Rome, Iceland, Seoul, and Tokyo. The airline intends to add at least five more intercontinental destinations by 2030.
