Addesse has proposed the use of primaries or direct comparisons to find a unified candidate, noting the need for a constructive dialogue within the coalition.

The political landscape is fragmented as other contenders emerge. Antonello Iannarilli of Forza Italia has launched a challenge, while Forza Italia is also considering a female candidate. The Patto Civico party has criticized the center-right coalition, describing it as split and self-referential.
