Alawar releases Security 51 horror simulator

Alawar has released Security 51, an atmospheric horror security guard simulator inspired by the themes of Papers, Please and the SCP Foundation. The game is currently available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, with a promotional sale offering a 10% discount through August 26.

Set deep within Area 51, players take on the role of a checkpoint guard responsible for managing access between the facility's bunker and its unknown depths. Gameplay involves verifying identities through documents, permits, and advanced tools such as fingerprint and blood testing.

As the simulation progresses, players must manage evolving protocols to contain mysterious entities, mutations, and diseases. Decisions made during shifts can have immediate or delayed consequences, requiring players to balance strict rule adherence with the management of increasingly anomalous and unpredictable situations.
