Traffic accidents and reckless driving reported in Austria and Turkey
Multiple traffic incidents involving alcohol and reckless driving have been reported across Austria and Turkey.
In Austria, a 40-year-old driver in Hohenems crashed into parked vehicles and an electrical panel, subsequently refusing an alcohol test. In Fußach, a 23-year-old driver collided with a vehicle while overtaking on a wrong lane and fled the scene on foot with a passenger. Additionally, in Weikersdorf, a 21-year-old unlicensed driver caused a head-on collision and behaved aggressively toward police.
In Turkey, several accidents occurred: in Çorum, a collision between a car and a motorcycle left one person injured. In the Alaca district of Çorum, an intoxicated driver struck two parked cars, resulting in a 50,000 TL fine. In Mudurnu, a truck carrying soda overturned, injuring the driver and blocking the Mudurnu-Nallıhan highway. In İnegöl, a motorcyclist was caught following a 5-kilometer police chase; the driver, who was intoxicated and previously unlicensed, received a total fine of 450,000 TL.
