Al‑Azhar Secondary School History Exam Begins for Literary Students

Students of the literary track at Al‑Azhar secondary schools started the scheduled three‑hour history exam at 09:00 on Thursday, 18 June 2026. The examinations are being conducted across the participating provinces with heightened security and health measures, including a physician in each exam committee to monitor students’ wellbeing.

Al‑Azhar authorities have confirmed that the exam schedule runs from early June through early July 2026, covering subjects such as Quran, Hadith, Grammar, Tawhid, foreign languages, statistics, jurisprudence, and literature. Officials emphasized strict organization, fairness, and the provision of a calm environment for all candidates.

The exams are part of the 2025/2026 secondary certification process, with the literary track exams having begun on 7 June and slated to conclude on 9 July 2026. The scientific track will continue until 8 July 2026.
