Alba Adriatica schools address transport incident and snack rules
In Alba Adriatica, two separate incidents involving local schools have drawn significant community attention.
Regarding a school bus incident, initial reports suggested an 11-year-old student was prevented from boarding his transport home. However, subsequent investigations have provided a different account, suggesting the situation was not an exclusion from service as originally reported. The event sparked debate among families in the Val Vibrata region concerning school transport safety and communication.
Separately, a local kindergarten has revised its rules regarding snacks following protests from parents. The school had initially banned all homemade food to prevent staff from handling children's food and reducing contamination risks. Under the new transitional rules, which remain in place until the school canteen opens on October 1, students may only bring single-portion industrial packaged products, pre-cut industrial fruit, or labeled baked goods. To ensure staff do not have to handle food, children must be able to open their own containers independently.
