ALBA Berlin defeats ratiopharm Ulm 98-82

ALBA Berlin secured a 98-82 victory against ratiopharm Ulm in a German Bundesliga matchup. Although Ulm managed a significant comeback during the game, including a period where they briefly held the lead, Berlin regained control with a decisive 14-2 run.

A key factor in the outcome was Ulm's ball security. Previously known as one of the most secure teams in the league with an average of eleven turnovers per game, Ulm committed 18 turnovers during the match, while Berlin committed twelve. This allowed the defending champions to maintain offensive pressure.

In the final quarter, Berlin scored 30 points to pull away. For Ulm, Mike Rataj led the scoring with 14 points and four rebounds. Ulm head coach Ty Harrelson expressed disappointment regarding the team's loss of control toward the end of the third quarter and their overall body language in the closing stages.
