Mediaset unveils summer 2026 TV lineup with Paz Padilla, Carlos Lozano and new formats
Mediaset announced a refreshed summer schedule for Telecinco and its sister channels. The network will bring back veteran presenters Carlos Lozano, Paz Padilla and Santi Acosta in new prime‑time slots. Lozano will host an interview‑driven show titled “Cara a cara con Lozano”, Padilla will front the weekend programme “El show de Paz” mixing humor and human‑interest stories, and Acosta will present a weekend report‑magazine. A daily version of the game show “¡De viernes!” and a new dating format “Amor o lo que surja”, both fronted by Lozano, will also debut. Mediaset clarified that the current talk show “El diario de Jorge” will pause for the summer and is slated to return in September. The programming overhaul aims to bolster audience share during a period of intense competition from rival broadcasters.
