Alba Flores celebrates 40th birthday and family legacy
Actress Alba Flores celebrates her 40th birthday on October 27, a date that also marks the 69th anniversary of the wedding of her grandparents, Lola Flores and El Pescaílla.
Flores has recently focused on honoring her late father, musician Antonio Flores, through the documentary ‘Flores para Antonio’. She described the project as a cathartic process of healing that allowed her to reconnect with his memory thirty years after his death. The film has also been noted for its emotional impact on her aunts, Lolita and Rosario Flores.
In addition to her film work, Flores is currently touring Spain with the play ‘Libres!!!’, a production honoring the Mujeres Libres organization and Spanish anarchism and feminism. To mark her milestone birthday, she plans to take a trip through Europe with her mother, Ana Villa.
