Alba Iulia City Hall announces commercial auctions in Alba Carolina Fortress

The Alba Iulia City Hall is organizing public auctions for the use of two commercial sites within the Alba Carolina Fortress.

The first site is a 37-square-meter annex located in the fortification ditches, intended to be transformed into a public catering point. The project involves demolishing a degraded structure and building a new facility with a metal structure and glass surfaces, while preserving and restoring the historic fortress wall. The concession for this site is set for 25 years.

The second site is a 145-square-meter area in Toboșarului Square, designated for commerce and the establishment of a terrace. Offers for these locations must be submitted by October 30, with public opening scheduled for November 4, 2026.
